I have been playing around with some new stamps from Creative Expressions. I really like these. They are basic flower shapes, but you can do quite a bit with them. Made this card for a friend recently - hope you like.

Hope it stays dry this Halloween. My grandchildren will be out and about as usual with their mum - dressed to kill! - I, on the other hand, don't have to dress up anymore!!!! I loved making this card - you can't go wrong with a pumpkin.

Had a lovely time at the Alley Pally again a few weeks ago. Still managed to get lost on the way home - even with sat nav and road map! Last month was very busy for me at work and home and I haven't even started the christmas cards I promised myself I would at the weekend. Have done a few bits to put on the bloggy though.

On 5 October I will have been married for 36yrs. I made this card for my better half. I know it's slightly girly, but I like it.....fortunately so did he!

The little greeting card folders are Regina Easter's little gems from the Cutting Cafe. Papers used were from good old Pink Petticoat with a few left over papers from my stash thrown in. The daisy stamp has been coloured with Promarkers and topped with Glossy Accents. Scallops cut on the Pazzles....

along with the elephant notelets.

Butterfly Wishes

I have had a pack of Victoria and Albert Museum linen paper for some time now but didn't really have a card in mind for its use. However, I have finally decided to use a sheet from the pack. I have stitched around the borders on both the main mat and the circle scallop. I have also used the dotty embossing folder in the Big Shot on the matting. The edgings were made on the die cutter, as were the scalloped circles. The butterflies are stamped on vellum and embossed lightly to bring out the white and then placed over butterflies stamped on the patterned paper.

My daughter and her partner are off to a wedding at the weekend and I made this card for the occasion. I scalloped the base of the card and lightly embossed the rose topper and wired through the front. Finished off with a sparkling hessian bow.

This is my take on Laura's lovely sketch 57 from 2 Sketches 4 You. I have used a selection of digi papers from Pink Petticoat. The pretty stamp is one I have used numerous times (not sure who made this one as it has worn off with use!) - hope you like!

Made this for the Cardmaking and Papercraft challenge. I have used a sentiment from the Cutting Cafe and the rest I made on the Pazzles. Had a lovely day yesterday at the Pazzles 'Get together' at Oysters Stamps in Rochester. Met some lovely ladies all keen on Pazzling! I would like to thank Tracey for her hospitality!

Went for a lovely bike ride early this morning (5am!!) with DH. His pedal fell off half way round - absolutely hilarious! On our return (and whilst he was Mr Grumpy) I took the opportunity of using the 'My Mind's Eye' freebie papers and made this. Hope you like.

I have been so busy over the past few months but now hopefully I can put more cards and books on the blog. Made a couple of books for my grandchildren. I have recently become the proud owner of a We R Memory Keepers Cinch binding machine and I'm frantically making books all over the place! The machine is very easy to use and certainly better than my previous one!

On my trip to the Ally Pally this year I took an idea from one of the demos. I cut out the word 'Dream' on copy paper, embossed in black and coloured with promarkers. I dried the paper with the heat gun letting it twist and curl and mounted the word on the card finishing it with Glossy Accents - very pleased with the results!

Looked outside this morning and realised that I wouldn't be sitting on the swinging hammock in the garden today. Another golden opportunity to do some ironing for an hour and craft for the remainder of the day - yippee!!!
